Epsom | up to £25,000pa pro rata | Permanent Part Time


Essentially the role is for someone to provide all payroll related services to the Group, with ultimate responsibility to ensure the timely and accurate payment of the monthly payroll for c. 120 UK employees.


You will be required to work 15hrs, 2 days per week which my client is flexible with, from 9am to 5.30pm.

The Role:

  • Process (as required) weekly and monthly payroll including statutory year end returns and P60’s

  • Process and deal with employee salary and payroll queries

  • Assist in entering overtime, bonuses, sickness, annual leave and other variable additions/deductions

  • Chase line managers for missing information as required

  • Maintain monthly payroll control account

  • Ensure timely payment of PAYE, pension and other deductions with HMRC

  • Process leavers and associated documentations (P45’s)

  • Maintain and update as required via the Government Gateway all personal tax code changes

  • Managing and implementing various salary sacrifice schemes, including cycles to work, pension, etc.




  • Strong academic track record

  • Business partnering with key stakeholders, including management accounting, tax, payroll and internal and external advisors

  • Professional and confident

  • Computer skills: Sage Payroll, Strong MS Office skills are essential, People HR would be desirable

  • Works well under pressure

  • Ability to field multiple queries at any time and prioritise accordingly

  • Well organized and the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to act on own initiative
