Cassidy Jones Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a telemetry business, who’ve been providing leading real-time asset management solutions to the utilities sector for over a decade. We’re recruiting for an Operations Administrator/ Sales and Procurement Co-ordinator to join their team in Tadworth.


The main responsibility of this role is to support the UK and Australian Operations function of the business. This is a critical role for the business, as it continues to experience rapid growth globally.  The opportunity has both variety and insight into many of the other areas of the business - you will be the Operations Managers’ right-hand person, providing day to day support whilst additionally supporting the sales team and any other ad-hoc needs that become necessary.


The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach and be willing to help in all areas as the job evolves, from basic to in-depth duties which are essential in the smooth running of the front end of the business.


The Role:


  • Process customer orders received by email/fax as necessary.

  • Manage stock levels including procurement/forecasting and stock issues.

  • Place purchase orders with suppliers and follow order through to delivery ensuring all parties are kept fully informed on timings/expectations and resolve issues as appropriate.

  • Liaise with Logistics provider resolving issues with deliveries/orders and improving customer service.

  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure pricing/invoicing queries and credit claims are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • Deal with enquiries, both internal and external.

  • Ensure all customer queries and emails answered within 24 hours.

  • Assist the sales team with general quotations and queries.

  • Liaise with Sales team in UK & Australia to ensure they are informed of all product and pricing adjustments quarterly.

  • Preparation and co-ordination of export documentation.

  • Ad-hoc duties as required.



  • Educated to A-Level.

  • Previous experience in an administration/ operations role essential.

  • Track history of making improvements and adding value to the business.

  • Proactive and enthusiastic character.

  • Strong planning and organisational skills.

  • Analytical.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot trends and/or anomalies.

  • Good working knowledge of PC skills and Microsoft Office Software suite.

  • Ability to work towards deadlines and targets.

  • Good at prioritising your own workload and work on your own initiative to drive development and progression in your area; full training will be given.
