ADMINISTRATOR

Epsom | £20,000- £22,000pa (pro rata) | 6 Months' FTC

 

This role supports with the administration for the Central Services team. This is a small team whose main activities cover the efficient and effective administration of the more complex aspects of mortgages.
 

This role will be ideal for someone who is an A Level Leaver or equivalent.
 

The Role of Central Services Administrator:
 

  • To support the team with all aspects of mortgage administration including updating systems, issuing emails and letters to customers, and checking data.

  • To help with the preparation of management information including for Board reports.

  • To support the team in complex cases for instance when customers fall into arears or with the property and accounts of deceased customers. This will require understanding the legal background to the situation and following set procedures.

  • To process standard reports including checking, the investigation of anomalies and working with other teams to resolve any outstanding issues.

  • To assist with the testing of new systems and processes.

  • Assist with the training of colleagues as required.
     

Requirements of Central Services Administrator:
 

  • An ability to undertake administration tasks in an efficient and effective way.

  • Attention to detail

  • Patient & calm under pressure – remain focussed and able to work independently

  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload

  • Good communication skills in all formats (telephone, email, letter, face-face)

  • Good use of initiative and confidence in making decisions

  • Confidence to create and maintain good relationships and interaction with colleagues

  • Ability to learn new skills and adapt when required

  • Good analytical skills and ability to research and investigate to collate accurate data from various sources including internet sources

  • Good / Excellent Excel skills. Preferably with the ability to create spreadsheets and analyse and manipulate data accurately.
     

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, 37.5 hours per week.
